About Maryellen
Meet Maryellen Parker, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC
I am a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background in interventional psychiatry, women’s health, child abuse medical evaluations, and primary care for individuals living with serious mental illness.
My approach is rooted in the belief that healing begins within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect, where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences without fear of judgment.
I recognize that every person's story is unique. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I take time to understand the broader context of your life, experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that supports not only symptom improvement but also long-term wellness, resilience, and personal growth.
Whether you are seeking support for a recent challenge or have been struggling for years, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, expertise, and genuine care.
My Philosophy
I believe that mental health treatment works best when it is collaborative. You are the expert on your own life; my role is to provide guidance, clinical expertise, and support as we work together toward meaningful change.
Mindful Support
Compassionate Care, Centered on You
Mental health care should feel safe, respectful, and human. My approach is built on creating a supportive space where you feel heard and understood as we explore your experiences and challenges at your own pace.
Together, we focus on understanding your symptoms, personal history, and goals to create a treatment plan that is individualized, evidence-based, and designed to support lasting emotional wellness and stability.
